Back when Bullitt was being filmed, there were two "Bullitt" cars, a stunt car that was beat up during filming and ended up in a junkyard in Mexico and the "hero" car which was used for close ups and non stunt shots. This car was long lost until recently when it turned up in Sean Kiernan's dad's garage. Kiernan's dad bought the car from an ad in the back of Motor Trend after filming ended for $6,000. Current value of the car is northwards of $5 Mil. Even better, Kiernan's mom daily drove the car for three years until the clutch went out.
