Lincoln developed the engine exclusively for their brand.

Ford has the 2.7 and 3.5 Ecoboost. The Lincoln motor is also not branded "Ecoboost".

So take my bet.

And I don't care what it is "branded." I'd bet $100 a 3.0L twin turbo v6 making around 400hp makes it into a Ford announced within 3 years.

The 3.0 is based on the 2.7 architecture (aluminum lower block frame/girdle with iron cylinder bores.) I'm sure it's a bore and/or stroke job, but probably shares most other parts with the 2.7.

I've got a Livernois tuner sitting collecting dust for my '11 EB Flex. I have the Ford ESP, so I'm leery of jumping into a tune.

There is the JMS Boostmax, which seems to be a decent solution for people scared of voiding their warranty.

I keep getting mail from Ford asking if I want to join the ESP, dunno if I should, you recall the cost of it?

Might not need it if I trade the Escape in on a Edge ST.

Works on most 3.5L Ford Ecoboost Vehicles
Warranty Friendly
Easy Plug & Play Installation
Increases fuel economy with normal use
Reduce Turbo Lag
Ecoboost Vehicles can have noticable Turbo Lag, this product helps reduce the problem.
Customers report 2+mpg when driven normally

I'm not sure about this

I keep the tuner and 2 bar MAP sensor in the car. So if I break down, I'll turn back to stock, and kill the battery before I call for a tow.

I know they could still figure it out it they really wanted, but how many people are modifying Lincoln MKS's?

It's mileage, year, vehicle dependent. I think I paid $2K for a 5 year old Flex with 90K miles for 3 years/36K miles.

I'm not sure about this
It doesn't flash the ECM, only intercepts the signal, so theoretically, if you take it off before you bring it in, Ford would never be the wiser.

Starts at 43k, then toss in the ford performance blue (likely $595 upgrade like most of their paints), panoramic roof, bigger brake package, some other package or two that im sure will be optional and you're around 50k.

I don't get the trailer hitch on it though. I thought my Escape had better tow ratings than the Edge, why even bother with it on the ST ?
I have a hitch on my Focus ST

So do I win if Ford gets an older version? Do I win if the horsepower is different? Too many variables to bet.
