You might not be able to see in the pictures but the car had sensors taped to its roof, it's trunk, wires black duct taped to it and manufacturers plates. We get a lot of test mules out here and this looked no different. Not sure what this means. I know they're resurrecting the brand as Karma but it seems odd to see a car being tested unless they changed something on it.

These were great looking cars.

They are beautiful but apparently king turd. Despite their size they are so small inside that they're classified as a sub-compact. They were painfully slow, had little all-electric range and poor fuel economy in hybrid mode, handled like shit, had abysmal build quality and generally just sucked all around.

The thing I don't get is why anyone would resurrect this car. It isn't a good car by any measure. Even if you put a BMW powertrain into it all the other problems still exist. If you have some time, enjoy...

you'd bring it back cause it looks cool. it's like the DMC12 of the 2010's

I don't know that anyone is going to drop $100,000+ solely because it looks cool. Who would choose this over a BMW i8 or even a Model S? That's what it's competing with on price point.

If you want utility it's useless. You'd go with the Model S or X. If you want sportiness you'd go with either the S or the i8. Even if you remove the fact that it was electric, it was objectively a bad car at it's core and it's design was such that it was impossible for it to have any kind of real world utility. I wonder if they can fix that without actually re-doing the entire car because if they can't then it makes no sense to make. People already voted with their wallets once.
