they did price as tested... the mustang gt doesn't come standard with as many options as the camaro ss does... sure the camaro ss base price is more, but you get a lot more with your money...
Im SURE a similarly loaded Camaro 2SS RS car will be every bit of $45k no problem.
Kudos to Chevy for really getting the Camaro back to where it should be. It sucks that it’s testing that much faster than the Mustang though
As far as the pricing goes, did they test a base model Camaro SS with one option? I seriously doubt a fully loaded SS is only going to be a little over $1k than a base model. A $45k Mustang is almost completely optioned out with everything you could imagine.

I'd love to see a break-down of what the base SS have over a Mustang GT Premium?
Looks like a Premium GT with PP is $39,790...ish? Chevrolet doesn't have their Camaro Builder up yet for the 2016's?
And $38,300 is CURRENT base for a 2015 2SS, which is comparable to the Mustang Premium....
2016 is supposed to have a 2-3K Increase....? Or more from what I read?

camaro looks leather i think right? which means 2ss i'd assume?
big touch screen (i don't think anything but big touchscreen is available on the SS cars, unlike mustang where you can get a typical looking radio...)
recaro's add a good chunk to the mustang price... sounds like the camaro seats work plenty well (as you mustang guys have said about the standard leather mustang seats)
do they both have brembo's?

so im just wondering what dick-puller options the camaro could be without to be under 40k... or what will put it over?
different wheel options maybe? although the once tested has good wheels... nav? unless it's not standard in the big screen?

They come with the Performance Package. A base GT premium with nothing is $36k.
