The 2016 Honda Civic Type R Is 310 HP Worth Of Turbo VTEC Craziness

Autocar has details on what they're calling the fastest and most powerful front-wheel drive hot hatchback in existence. The 310 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque at just 2500 RPM (in a Honda! Jesus!) come from a 2.0-liter turbocharged i-VTEC four. The zero to 62 mph (100 km/hr) dash happens in 5.7 seconds, and top speed is 167 mph.456

I don't know if the non-US Civics are as much of pigs as the US ones, but the current Si is no lightweight at 3,000 pounds.

Focus RS all day long. Looks like Honda spent the remaining budget dollars at the Pepboys clearance bin instead of going AWD. That 0-60 time says its struggling to put the power down as it shreds your wrists

Here it is in action. Smashing the FWD record (this is a preproduction car with no AC and a roll cage, everything else is what comes w/ the production car). They plan on going back w/ a full production unit. This was done last year.
