The 2015 R8 is the fastest and most powerful Audi ever

Overall I think I like it. What I don't like is the price. The v10 starts at 186k, the v10 plus starts at 211k... That's a 50k premium over the starting price of my car, which is good for my car's value I suppose.

I mean, my car looks like an Audi TT, I'm not gonna lie. One major thing that sets it apart, though, is the side blade. Removing the side blade, or reimagining it as they have here, makes it look a lot more like a TT.

Yeah, the more I look at it the less sense the body lines make. The front and rear have very hard angles, while the profile of the car remains very smooth.

The R8 has been on the top of my list of favorites. Have always liked it but the side blade was a trademark of that car. Particularly from behind, the new one looks TTish.

Fuel mileage, as if it matters, is 19.9 mpg in the U.S. for the less powerful engine, 19 mpg for the higher-powered one. Audi says that’s up 10 percent from the previous model. Some of that has to do with the new stop/start system.

I dont hate it.....but its not all that spectacular either. Would choose previous gen. For that price If I had 211k to throw at that car for the V10+ Id just chip in the extra 40k or so and go for the Huracan instead.
