This list used to represent a combination of reliability, power, refinement, etc. Now it seems like it just represents a random selection of what's new and popular.

I mean there can't possibly be reliability data on the Hellcat motor yet and an electric motor? I swing hard off of electric cars but it's a fucking electric motor. They're all reliable and one isn't any more exciting than the next and if per chance one was more exciting than the next it certainly wouldn't be the i3 motor.

Suddenly I don't feel like it's as prestigious to make this list as it once was.

Also, as the owner of a VQ, that engine has basically stood still in time for 10 years now sans some modest power upgrades. It's a nice engine but it doesn't hold a candle to the nicer modern engines. Nissan needs to step up it's game.
