maybe they should put a decent engine in it?

:dunno:

The new engine is pretty damn fast. 280hp

The pentastar ones are awesome dude. They run the quarter in mid to high 14's IIRC

Yup
The wheelbase is the reason I wouldn't tow with it. To damn short to pull anything over a popup or something that sized

They can't tow because of the soft suspension setup for offroad. That and the hitch mounts to basically a 2x4 of metal only in back.

There are a lot if rumours surrounding this... One is that Toledo cannot produce aluminum body parts... Only north Toledo, sterling heights, and belvidere plants are capable. And since belvidere is discontinuing the compatriot, they might move production of the wrangler here! Also they are reportedly gong to try and make it a uni body and use IFS, which had a lot of "purists" upset...
