Those are recently produced cars waiting on being shipped out. The manufacturers will slow or cut production when the cars are not selling, if they all spit out hundreds of thousands of "extra" cars to sit I lots every year, they would all go out of business. Then again, I'd expect this type of article to speak to you, dozens of paragraphs ranting about conspiracys based on some Random Google maps images with no other information to base his conclusions on.

I actually work next to one of these lots, and its like a holding lot for cars off the production line before they get shipped to where there going. Some times only few cars some times 1000

I work next to an auto lot as well. They sometimes have tents up as well. They come right off the train to the lot then trucks grab em up and they are off.

some of these pictures could've been from the 2008-09 auto industry near disaster, GM and Chrysler were known to have huge parking lots full of new cars that werent selling but for what ever reason they were still cranking them out like there was no tomorrow.
