Breaking down the data
There are some clear standouts based on this data. Perhaps nothing is more blaring than the fact that speeders prefer foreign cars. Toyota (NYSE: TM ) was an odd surprise with its Camry rolling in decisively at No. 2, as well as its Scion brand occupying the No. 3 and No. 5 spots. Daimler (NASDAQOTH: DDAIF ) was another standout on this list, with the SL-Class, CLS-63, and CLK-63 taking the No. 1, No. 6, and No. 9 spots on this most-ticketed list. Honda Motor (NYSE: HMC ) also gets a token mention on the list with the Acura Integra at No. 7.

Surprised the 3 series wasn't on that list. I was apart of the ticket of the month club for the most minor of speeding infractions with both my 135i and 335i. Never been pulled over in the TA.

Agreed, when I drive to work betweemn 4:30 and 5:30, there are mostly trucks and they are flying.

I can see Camry being on the list cause there's so damn many of them. Plus they ride really smooth at 70-80mph haha. I typically do 70-80mph on my way to work in the morning, 294S is flying at 6:15am, most cars are doing 70.

I think the main reason that Camry in up there because a lot of parent buy them but the ones getting the tickets are the kids borrowing them.

When I drive my moms I can be going 80 and not even know it. It rides the same at 55 as it does at 80.
