Those mid to late 70's Firebirds are really getting snapped up now adays.
I saw a really awesome retro modded one at a car show recently.
I guess all the first gen are gone and now everyone is moving on.

well it's the trickle down effect of the prices of everything else right now collector-car-ish.

You can't touch a decent late 60's t/a or camaro for under 25k.... sooo 70's t/a's & camaros have gone up now too ... and since those are going up and becoming unattainable... third gens are as well.

clean nice examples for a number of reasons are going to get slowly more valuable...
