For those who are able to afford the all-new BMW 4-Series but can’t quite justify paying more for the M4, the M Performance upgrade package is just the thing you need and will be available sometime early 2014. The M Performance kit boosts the sex appeal of an already sexy vehicle up by a few notches with accessories such as a more aggressive looking aerodynamic body components, interior trim improvements, suspension enhancements, and increase in power and performance. The client and pick and choose from the available M Performance kit offered by BMW.

The first and obvious thing once will notice is the aerodynamic kit which is likely to M4 inspired. The body kit package includes a lower front bumper which has incorporated carbon fiber splitters and an larger opening for air intakes, darker chrome trim on exterior, carbon fiber mirror caps, carbon fiber spoiler, and a new rear bumper with a diffuser.

The BMW 420d gains an additional 16 horsepower and 29 lb-ft of torque bringing the total power to 195hp and 309 lb-ft torque. The BMW 428i gains 27hp and 29 lb-tq bringing it to 269hp and 287 lb-ft of torque. The top of the line BMW 435i will get a boost of 34hp and 37 lb-ft of torque bringing the total numbers to 336hp and 332 lb-ft of torque.

BMW says that these power increases are made possible by software modifications as well as using a new exhaust system. Even with the added power, fuel consumption is to remain the same and the CO2 emissions will also be the same. No word yet on the pricing for the BMW 4-Series M Performance package.

On the interior of the vehicle, first thing we see is the new three-spoke suede wrapped steering wheel with a digital display and seats with additional bolstering.

Although it’s not the BMW M4, you can still expect some performance upgrades – the vehicle has the M badge after all. You will be pleased to know that there have been power enhancements for three of the four engines which are available for the BMW 4-Series coupe.

Sweet gaudy interior.

Your face is gaudy.

Cant forget the weight of the car either.

My 5 series is only 3600lbs so there's no way that's 4500 but you guys already covered that so yeah...

The F1 steering wheel with rev lights is pretty sweet. I think. Not sure how that will play out on the road with bright flashy shit going off in your face.

The wheel is pretty bad ass. I'd love to have one but I can't justify the $1000+ they want for it, especially since no one has tried putting it on a 5 series.
