After over 50 years, Ford announced that they will stop producing the Falcon in 2016.

The Falcon has been the most sold car in Australia since 1960, back then it shared body styles with the old American Falcon, only modified to be a sedan instead of a coupe.

It sucks though, but all good things must someday come to an end. Ford's may no longer be built in Australia due to this and they will all be European or American imports. The only thing Ford people in Australia can hope for is that they finally get Australian delivered Mustang's instead of guys importing, converting, and selling overpriced.

End of the road for Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore in 2016 | News.com.au
