Some of you may be members of SVTPerformance.com. It's one of the sites where the original members of CSVT got to know each other.

The site made the mainstream news today when one of the members who works for Google had to defend the fact that he owns three very desirable cars. He responded to a challenge on the forum by taking pics of his cars with bread on them. Proof, indeed, and funny, too.

He is a very cool guy. Posts a lot and has a sense of humor for sure. He posted who he was and his job a couple years back though. He still has to lost pics if his new German ride.

It isn't surprising a anymore that many famous and well off people post on internet forums, go to shows and auctions and support the industry. After all, they are kids at heart like the rest of us.

Some jackass gets on the thread and says how he needs to sell his cars and donate the money to people in need. He replied something to the effect that HALF his income went to charity. Not including the things he won at charity auctions, he named the 599xx specifically. Because those auctions he won he is getting something of value in return. A couple times SVTP had a donation drive for a couple charity things. Mr. Treynor matched the total amount raised by SVTP.

Guy really seems level headed, has a sense of humor, is happy to share with out bragging and helps others. How can you hate on a guy like that?

Thats how people are. When it comes to donating theres a few different types.

1. The ones that say everyone needs to donate and don't donate themselves
2. Those who donate like $1 and brag about donating (and sometimes try and get others to donate)
3. The ones that donate a bunch and don't brag about it or anything. Some will admit to it if asked or let themselves be interviewed and others will hide it.

Number 3's the only good one. The others are just attention whores or snobby

Easy. A lot of people in this country have a sense of entitlement. They believe they should graduate college and jump right in to some 6 figure management position despite having zero experience in that field. They refuse to work towards being successful, and publicly despise those who do.

Sadly I agree and its not isolated to USA only, this is a major problem in many places. Sadder yet is the only cure is the certain future of hunger. When one gets hungry enough all that entitlement bullshit will be their own personal bitch slap upside the head.

Cycle of money; First wave earns it, second wave inherits it, third wave blows it. We are knee deep in the third cycle now
