Honeywell makes an ungodly amount of different shit in all sorts of different industries. It amazes me this company is as quiet as it is, they are huge.

This looks like some great tech, I wonder what effect this would have on Tip in Detonation if you didn't lower the compression ratio being that the ramp up is so much faster, also being smaller like this would a different intercooler setup be needed. I would imagine that heat may transfer to the compressor side more in this kind of setup.

OK, I like this idea. I have a feeling it's still going to be less than optimal for drag, but as a street car, me likey. The turbine wheel is going to need to be bigger as compared to current ratios though.

its not the same....the ford is a dual compressor with a conventional radial turbine

this unit is dual compressor with an axial flow turbine

I'm actually not sure how an axial flow turbine is considered higher efficiency.
