looking at laptops for a college student.
net books are cheap but some say they rock for what they use them for some say they suck gtp nutz...
im lookin more at a lap top since i want to be able to put in games or discs or music or movies or what ev
not any hardcore gamer or movie playing or anything just casual
what are some good brands and models
im just lookin for internet use with wifi capability and just some memory to watch movies or get some music on there
i also have a school disc to put in for learning shit so i want that to be at least faster than a GT...
any ways... lower end price
good brands? models? got one for sale?

i really enjoy my dell inspiron 1525, its got a 2 ghz processor, and 3gb of ram and it hauls ass, and with a 320 gb hard drive which is plenty of room for music and such. i got it for my high school grad so i dont know how much it cost, but since its a year old it will prolly be cheaper

Get an older thinkpad T60 off of ebay. Solid laptops, metal hinges, simple design. Can get one for 300-400 bucks easy. Will last far longer than any consumer grade laptop.
