Anyone play this game? I was thinking about buying some computer game to hold me over until Starcraft 2 comes out. If you got it, do you like it? How is the multiplayer mode.

alright, I went out and bought it. It's pretty sweet. Only $30, so not bad.

You can always get the First Decade game too, all the C&C games up to RA2 + Xpack, I got mine for $20 iirc. Can't beat the original RA =)

Can you play Red Alert over the network with that? With the original version, your only option was null modem.

Typically just download a VPN client, to multiplayer the older ones.

Yeah, but I think you could only do it with 2 computers though.

I have all the games w/o that pack , been a C&C fan for years.... Even bought the Dune version they made a few years back, wasn't bad actually

Yeah, we got all the Red Alerts, but all the CD's are scratched to hell.

I tried playing the original RA online with the first decade version and there were a whole bunch of problems with trying to play it online, like i had to download a bunch of stuff and it generally just really wasnt worth it and i never really figured it out.

Ive got the original Red Alert with The Aftermath as well. I might go install that now.

Don't for get Red Alert: Counterstrike.

Playing it online sucked because you had to play through Westwood online, which never seemed to work.
