Ehh, I guess everyone should try a sport truck once.

I had a Dakota with the 5.2, posi/3.55 gears, 5 speed. I did a 3/5 drop...truck was very nice.

It got old, powersliding and drifting was fun...but rough ride, TERRIBLE gas milage, limited storage space, being constantly broken into...I couldn't wait to get into a car again.

My buddy has an 04 colorado with the 4 banger, auto, reg cab, and it's a piece...

I heard it was a isuzu design and well my buddy is looking fiercely to get something else. Big problem he ran into is to replace the front rotors, you need to remove the wheel hubs, and that takes a special tool...

Now he's trying to chase down electrical gremlins...

Give it a roll pan (that's what it's called to replace the bumper, right) drop it and it's a dead sexy truck.

I had a Colorado that I purchased new in 06, it was a 5 cylinder 2wd and the truck couldn't even get out of it's own way. That truck is the reason that I will never purchase a 2wd daily driver again. Now though with the 5.3L that thing must haul some serious ass and must have a very functionable 4wd. I saw one a the stealership I bought my Tahoe from a week after picking up the HOE. Had I known that it was coming out I would have at least test drove, the only problem is still having such a short bed. After a tool box is added you have maybe 2 usable feet to cargo.

I have the 5.3L in my TAHOE and it has some get up and go, something that weighs that much less should fly down the highway.

Why in the Hell do people get all excited with power-braking?!!! Sure it was cool to do it in Dad's car when i was 16 but for Christ's sakes...I can power-brake most any 6 cylinder, rear wheel drive vehicle, it doesn't mean its fast! I'm sure that Colorado is fast for what it is but I'd be more interested what kind of patches it can lay down on a dry street from a standstill...and that white Ranger, if that's a 460 there was no reason to wet the tires in a parking lot. That thing should have been able to spin it's tires through a tank full of gas!

I would be impressed with 200' of twin patches layed down without the brake from a dead stop.
