3800 Byron results from the weekend

Well I went to Byron over the weekend to see what I gained from TOGS and Mr. Vogel's tune.

With my current mods minus the TOGS and stock tune, my best time was 14.1...not sure of the trap speed.

All current mods in my sig and I was able to pull a 13.71 @96mph. This was with 2.00 60'. I was pretty consistant with that all day with my BFG KDW's....Byron actually wasn't hookin' too bad.

I just wanted to vent this out because I am very happy to meet my goal of 13's this year. Not sure if I wanna try for 12's....it's most likely a no....I want a V8 RWD car for 12's.

Would never have been able to accomplish this without this club....Thanks guys!

Also want to give Ron Vogel big props for helping me get there....he is a priceless member of this club.

Nice time, ALMOST a 13.6 so close. But yeah you should probably trapping higher my GTP trapped 95 stock you should probably be close to 100.

With that time, doesnt that mean your car (or his car if someone else answers this for me) pulls really strong on the low end to be running the same time (13.7) as a car trapping 101?

BFG KDW's = lower traps...if you can hook throughout the 330' mark your traps will be lower. 2-3mph on average

I was thinking my traps should be higher also....

Like Ron was saying...I hooked up really well...I get better and better at launching it. I'll have little to no wheel spin if I hit the gas correctly.

Does this just mean, I'm getting the best time possible with my setup?

try race gas and a smaller pulley ...your best setup is what ever has the least amount of knock. the torque gain is great from a 3.2/3.25 just scan many run it with out issues. you have headers so i would think it would be possible to do better
with them giving you a little head room. i think getting a PT or a happy knob(with pcm programing) to add a little more timing
