I have no idea about tuning, nor where binary code applies in tuning. But... if you set you PC's calculator to scientific and change the setting to binary, you can type that in. then you can convert to hex, octal, and decimal.

....not sure if that applies to tuning, but something I figured out during a test lol

Nope, it's easy to tune a car for WOT power. It's another thing to tune a car for good power, OEM drivability, and good gas mileage. I had my car tuned by one of the best Ford tuners in the nation and the difference is definitely there.

bah, tuning for gas mileage and drive-ability is simple, much easier and less stressful than wot IMO.

Tuning WOT is easy. You simply command an air fuel ration in the base fueling table and dial in the MAF xfer function to get the desired A/F.

Haha, that's like saying it's easy run a marathon, all you gotta do is put one foot in front of the other for 40 miles straight... There's a bit more to it than that kiddo. I can "tune" driveability in 1 shot any day of the week assuming all the needed sensors are working correctly, WOT is a completely different animal. Then, try dialing in a car that uses 2 different maps for WOT, like Cobalts, riiiiiight. Sorry, but you're wrong. :smile:
