i had a fucking blast there today.
my cousins buddy had a few people there for his birthday- so i was dropping off my cousin- and decided to check it out... walked inside and was really impressed by it... nothing like what i imagined...
one of the dudes from the party backed out- so a slot was opened for me...
why the hell not i decided and i am so glad i did it.
absolute blast. we had 12 people?
we all did 3 15 lap races each- with like 8 other people out there at a time... (total of four races... you sat out one) then we did a final 10 person race- which was 30 laps.
we were at the buffalo grove location, on track 2.
first race took some getting used to- as to how hard you can actually push the carts- and where to enter turns and what not... and how to make a smooth line... Yet I started 10th, and took 4th... another thing that was very noticeable- was as the tires heated up- even tho small- and indoor on concrete- they became significantly stickier...
final race i started in 7th, and finished 7th... but had an absolute riot.
I did manage tho to post the 6th quickest time of the week for the track, of 15.93...
if you ever get the chance... do it.
