If you need me to do a quick one over, not a biggie. Yeah, myself, James, or SDD are very familiar with the platform, and can point out items that are more prone to fail...in your case at your milage you are more likely to be coming up on hub replacement, and LIM replacement (If the original plastic gaskets were used.

ohhhh why is the color a problem?? usually red pizzes people off lol. black type is boring. i see it all week:( how about blue. yes i am a she. most definitelyl. the car has been problem free for the most part. now i hear a chriping, belt or pulley?? im thinking. i dont know what parts could be 'due to go', only that i want to prevent any if possible. being down by the side of the road would not be my first option. i seem to go thru k&n filters fast. they are filthy and i dont have the tool to get to it. i am not able to stand or walk very long or far. but this car is my life. i sacrificed a lot for it and i want to keep it in good shape. so i need help and i want someone i can count as well as someone who loves grand prixs:) i worry too much about plugs, fuel injectors, etc. from my past grand prix. thanks all again;)

my grand prix 2003 will be out of warranty in a couple of weeks. hes had a bumper to bumper until 68K. im looking for a gm tech (preferred) to check mine out and do minor work, i.e. clean injectors, etc. i cant due to disability. if you can help please email me thanks:)

If you would like I can give you some advice on ways to keep your car running pretty well, if you have a part you are wondering about, i will let you know the easiest way to maintain it. For example, you should not have to get someone to clean your injectors unless someone gets really mad at you. If you run premium fuel like the manual says, they will stay clean. Even running mid grade fuel will keep them clean. Shell even has the new nitro enriched fuel which will help even more.

not true on any level....although v-power and the amoco ultimate are a cleaner fuel, running premium has nothing to do with it. always running a top-tier fuel will help with the injector problems, but the main problem is sedement in the tank/corrosion in the fuel system, that get past the sock, and fuel filter and can't pass through the tiny holes in the injectors.....:dunno:
