yes, it's a very common issue. im surprised they held out for that many miles. it's a little time consuming, but anyone that's mechanically inclined can do it. just take your time and make sure you clean the gasket surfaces well. oh, and doing an oil change or two after everything is back together is key. you'll wash out the bearings if you dont.
