L26 Headstud Question?????

Today while installing the ARP head studs on my new block (l26) that is.
Me and projectgtp ran into a problem screwing in the last stud, it stuck out farther then all the rest and was in all the way? all the others match up perfect besides the rear head upper right corner.The front head studs went in perfect. They are ARP 12 Point studs if that helps.As on how far it sticks out im not exactly sure but it is a noticeable difference compaired to the other studs.Dont really want to put the head on and damage anything.
Has any1 else ever had this problem before? or know a solution so i can finally finish this build. Thanks for looking.

there's a blind bolthole on the rear head cyl 6 intake side right next to the bellhousing. if you didnt chase and blow it out im sure there's a chance the stud is bottoming on old sealant/gasket/etc debris at the bottom of the hole.

all the other studs i seal as they are through holes into the water jacket

We did all of that. but the damn stud seems to stick out still. we tripple checked all of that. Any other ideas?

dont worry about it, its just bottomed out in the hole then, no problem

Ummm lol? Isnt that not going to work when we torqe down the head?

the upper portion of the stud has plenty of threads, the nuts wont bottom out

i thought it might have been a manufactor mistake or something. but since you say its going to work im going to put that head on then
