N* TPS problems

So I put on the N* kit today, got it all bolted on. Started it up and scanned, found that the TPS was reading 25-30% open at idle. I adjusted the throttle cable and bracket and that did nothing. I went and bought a new TPS from autozone and the problem was still there. We could not figure it out so I had to put the original TB back on, I'm thinking the N* TB is the problem. So I might just go and get a different one.

do you have the modified throttle cable bracket? the oe N* bracket with the 3800 cable will hold it open what rpm was the motor at? did you verify the throttle blade was closed?

I got the modified bracket and the blade was closed. I pulled the pedal back as much as I could and I forced the throttle closed by hand. Same results, the SES light came on for the TPS. So I replaced it with a new one. Same results. RPMs were around 1500 to 2000.

You should mention too that it would shift high rpm only. When you 1st start it, it would be 1800 RPM but after 1-1.5min it would idle down but still read 25+% throttle. It did change from 30 some percent with the original one.

Yeah Im gonna get a different TB and see if that works. I have a feeling something is wrong with the one I have now.
