So some of you know, I went down to New Mexico on sunday and picked up the replacement for my rusted ass L67 swapped bonneville.

Lucky for me, I found the same exact car down there, identical option package, color and everything. xcept this bitch is CHERRY, you can literally eat off the underside.

Right now its just a stock 1990 Bonneville SSE with the LN3 and a 440T4 transmission, but it will be getting a S2 L67/4T65E swap shortly with a bunch o goodies added on.

Oh yea, i meant the body and the underside. you can literally eat off the underside of this thing its so clean.

i know the interior is shot to hell, but that is a simple fix once i find a SSE with the cloth seat option and swap em over, its next to impossible to find any of those cars with the leather still intact these days.

Going to find a set of cloth ones for it, as i said before... its next to impossible to find one of these cars with the leather still intact after 20+ years, and its not worth the 500ish to have them recovered/repaired.

Nope, dragged it back on panda's tow dolly with my buddies 06 TBSS. the transmission is failing in it, so it doesnt shift out of first gear. no big deal anyway since its getting a new powertrain anyway.

Not bad for $500 if i do say myself.

The drive is half of the purchase for something like that. Hell, I was gonna make a 2 thousand something mile trip to the Bay Area by way of Route 66 for a Grand Prix that a buddy of mine from the Bonneville Club had for sale.. just to be able to drive 66 as well.

A good bit of it, yes... but not the drivetrain. Im going to swap in the drivetrain from the totaled 97 ssei that i had last year, and my buddy is getting the drivetrain out of the soon to be retired bonneville for his.
