Did some detailing today..

Despite the 105* heat index, I got bored and I decided to try out some new compound on my heavily faded bumpers. Haven't posted pics yet because I've been lazy, and well...the bumpers were bad IMO. But I guess that's what I get for a western car with no rust!!


I'm very excited at the outcome, I snapped only a few pics today however. I still have to do the hood and roof, as they need this touch as well...but aren't nearly as bad as the bumpers were. I'll get some better pictures soon when I can find the time to do the rest


Here's what I started with..

Half and half on the rear..

Some half and half on the front..

And some finished shots. The rear bumper came out a lot nicer than the front, the front bumper still needs some work. But I'm happy for the time being.

I liked my GP a lot, but the Regal has a better feel, fit and finish, and a cloaking device that makes it not attract negative attention.

Needs moar Hogan exhaust though.

Fish's exhaust is cheaper. A whole $80 picked up. DP to exhaust tip. Already welded.

Yes sir! Yeah, the rest of what needs it at least. The hood and roof are really the only places left. Everything else is fine

It was some Meguiars ultimate compound, and all by hand
