36" Magnaflow resonator

Just got done replacing my zzp catback's 12" 320 stainless Magnaflow resonator with a 36" 409 stainless Magnaflow resonator I bought off SummitRacing for $100 shipped to my door. Drone has been eliminated, and deceleration is completely silent. I'm very pleased with the results, and my car is stealthy once again.

kinda how mine is... we just cut my old own apart on both ends ripped the old sheet metal apart and used my buddies diesel truck exhaust pipe to make a new one.... cant beat free

Lol - that's what I have on my car, no cat and summit turbo mufflers - it's still upseting "certain" passengers. I love it sice exhaust leaks were fixed. Not so sure about no drone on the highway part though

Al's 04 with magnaflow muffs n res sounds good, so does dd's mag res n flowmaster...both are straight through...Al's dropped his boost ~3psi over the stock shit...and that was with a 3.4 gen5 and VS...them fuckers are restrictive....its a positive displacment blower...get the spent gasses out so you can make more pah.

you want quiet...go ahead and sacrafice power

imma say what mike would say "turbo's are the bestest muffler evar"

S/C cars should run stock mufflers and a downpipe cutout.

Al's and dd's sc junkheaps both sound great and are plenty quiet at cruise and part throttle....and both do it without the restriction of the stock muffs

I did an an exhaust set-up with that muffler back to straight pipes back in '03...it's quiet as long as the pipes clear the bumper. It doesn't work out so well on a lowered car though since it's 6" round...hits everything, only reason I got rid of it. It's hard to tuck it in tight to the tunnel.
