Quick question for the GXP crowd

A buddy of mine who is in the reserves has a 2008 GXP in a dark green color -- the car has 89k highway miles and still looks great. Its still under warranty and has no known issues.

About how much is something like this worth?

my personal feeling is that GM was smokin somethin to think the 65eHD "improved" would handle a v8

Private sale, I'd trust Edmunds.com or Nada over KBB.

Trade-in, Worthless.... high miles kills it.

Retail sale, I'd guess 14K? (edit, KBB puts it at like 15,500 Retail, so yea, I'd say 14ish retail)

Nah, the 4T65 is a stout transmission with minimal upgrades. They made some changes to the valve body for the GXP that seem to have made the transmission less reliable... That and you just can't have tap shift on these cars. Tap shift actively reduces the lifespan of the bands and ultimately the transmission. It's a nice concept but not needed and who wants to row through only 4 gears anyhow?!

08 with 64k going for 16,9

07 with 82k going for 10,1

07 with 80k going for 13,9


That 16,9 is crazy...
