If I can keep out of it, I can do high 20's on the highway. The way I drive it, I generally get about 10 miles a gallon though. Typically I'm only pulling it out if I'm in the mood to go fast and then it's seeing a lot of wide open throttle.

Colleen's car gets 17/18 because we usually drive her car to work and it's like 6 minutes. Highway is around 28.

Haven't really driven the daytona enough yet to say what it's settling into. I'd say 18 or so driving around town. Dunno highway yet.

Yup, the way it's wired it will run the MPG monitor, but won't fire up my heated seats, even if they are on...

sounds lie they wired it to power up only the engine portion of the IGN switch circuits...you can run a relay off that power to feed into the aux power circuits comming outta the ign switch if you want them seats to fire up when you rem start it

Around town and stuff I'd get shit mileage in the GP because my commute to work one-way is literally an 1/8th mile

When I was on the interstate for a good amount of time I'd pull off low 30's, my highest being 34 when I took a huge 1200 mile roadtrip a couple summers ago.

I too average about 18-19 driving it nice, sucks up fuel pretty bad when i get on it though. Definitely turns into a sipper on the highway, i see high 20's at 70-ish, faster and it starts falling. I remember going through 15gallons of E85 tuning my blue car in 90miles

EDIT: that was for the stock+turbo car, the ST5 crazy turbo one gets like 14-15 daily driving, and I have no idea what i gets on the highway. I'll bet low 20's, to be expected I suppose. I'll find out once I can drive it more than a week without it breaking. :picard:

When I had the G/P, I averaged between mid 17's to 20's depending on whether or not it was summer and my driving style. It was low in the winter because I would let the car warm up for about a minute before taking off. In the summer, I could have done better but I was at WOT (WOOT WOOT) a LOT more than I should've.

Now that I have a N/A 3800 with a T5 manual, it looks like I have you all beat. I just figured out my mileage last night. On the highway, I'm getting about 31 to 32 mpg's, while around town, I'm getting between 23 and 25 mpg's. I'm not in the throttle as much, because this car is --s - l -- o ---- w.

...but I'm down to race anyone on here....just as long as it's a 425 mile trip!

~20 on my 97 GTP... 32mpg highway.

My brothers 97 GTP was tuned specifically for MPGs... was like 22 city and 34 highway.

I remember riding back with Panda from Eagle River averaging 34.6mpg the whole way home.

But what constitutes city driving? Pure city driving to me means you're never getting over 30-35 and stop signs or lights every block.
