so, im getting close to really needing to beef the trans,
i don't wanna go all out and just rebuild everything,
because i know, that everything isn't really needed,
heres what i had in mind tho.

input shaft
torque converter
as needed seals and gaskets
and maybe some upgraded bands

i would consider trying it myself,
but i think that's more than i can chew..

where in the Chicago area are there
any places who would do this kind of work tho?
im not familiar with any as ive been out of the loop for so long

just kindof a brainstorming thread,
but i wanna build up the tranny before next year
when i get the new heads.

Or you can PM Phatride_gt, he's got a guy that does it locally (sorta) in Ottawa, IL.

I can't find the thread (not enough time to look) but we also have a trans vendor (Tim King) on here with a built trans for a STEAL.

You might as well just get a built trans because doing an i/s requires pretty much the entire trans to come apart.
