WTB: A/C compressor

Looking to get my air conditioning working this year. 2000 GTP. My compressor spews metal shavings off the clutch so wanted to see if anyone has a known working one around they want to sell.

I'll be at the 3800 meet on April 10 so can pick it up then.

im prob the only one that'll chime in ...but yes i believe i have one...somewhere

if the compressor is fine then you should be able to install a new bearing/pulley/clutch assembly and not loose your r134a

I did not know that. I was just gonna throw a new one in and hope it fixed my leak too

I believe all the refrigerant leaked out. The clutch hasn't clicked for a few years. From what I remember I don't think it will engage when it's low enough. I'll have to leak test/have it tested to see where it's leaking from.

Still $150-200+ for new/reman units from what I've seen. I just need a cheap used one to hobble together a functional system for one summer.

thats because the 04+ have the block mount integral to the case instead of it being a seperate bracket...iirc the lines bolt on in the same spot with the same style Orings

Yeah i just got it off of my L26 that was thrown into my lumina. it spins freely in my hand. itll bolt up and the lines should be the same.

nah your ass has to come over to the garage...its been a while...i can give you my compressor as well...if the smaller 04 unit works i get your older W body compressor mount bracket ...i only have one other and i like to keep at least 2 of everything in stock
