So i got this front mount and i dont get how to mount it to the car. Anyone know anything?

But what i dont get it it didnt come with bolt and when i hold it to where i think it goes the middle bar on the IC has nothing to mount to

just drill holes wherever it lines up and get 'er done. maybe a trip to the home depottt and you will be good to go.

well that was what i was going to do but you know zzp "no drilling required lines up perfectly with exsisting holes" bullshit they say

well waiit.. then look some more... does the top shelf looking brackets go on the top of the bumper support... and then the other single tab go to the bottom of the hood latch support? cuz that looks like where it should go to me... on the inside of the bumper

remove that harness and themount clips and kj is right it should slip in

almost looks like if you do that it blocks most of the damn airflow unless it angles back, they seriously didnt send you it with a sheet of paper or anything?

It'll still work fine I'm sure, since a giant frontmount only helps with volume of fluid.

Yea it fits. Just have to raise the rear of the hood up a good inch. It's like a cowl hood then

I am pretty sure- but may be mistaken- but stock is preferred...

or completly disassemble them, engrave the layers with location, clean em good and then use a full can or two of copper spray.

they are designed for a smoother finish than the RA that GM machined the block and heads too

This is why I wouldn't use them, you're taking them apart to make them work. Terrible idea IMO.

not really, anything "out of the box" should be diassembled and cleaned

nothing mass produced is ever really clean, as long as you mark the layer locations it's all good, each layer self registers with the alignment dowels

I buy head gaskets for that much, I don't take them apart. I install. If i pay $20 for them, yea, then it's not too bad of any idea.

like this. drop a bolt through each of the two holes in the bumper support. put a nut on it. tighten. boom. i had to open up the lower mounting tabs with a dremel a bit. because they only allow for some skinny little bitch bolts as they are now. and then for the hood latch support tab, i just put a big screw through it. just play around with it. it will line up.

worry about lining up the two brackets and getting it straight first. then drill into the hood latch support wherever that leaves you.
