GTP tire options, what should I do?

Currently I have a set of 245/50/16 Eagle F1's on Polished torque stars, a set of blizzack 225/50/16's on pace car torque stars, and two 255/50/16 MT ET street DR's on polished torque stars. I really like how F1's perform in the summer, the blizzacks in the winter, and the MT's at the track. But I got way to many tires around my dads shop. The blizzacks probably will only last another winter, and the F1's are slightly dry rotted. Im thinking about just buying a good all season tire, but don't know what todo.

How interested in the gtp are you going to be after getting that Z? I'd say throw some good all seasons on your "summer" rims and use the blizzaks for this winter then just stick to the all seasons or get more blizzaks next winter.

I'd think you're probably done modding or taking the gtp down the track for some serious drag racing.

I say sell them all and buy a decent all-season.

I was in the same situation. Had the Bullitts with summer tires, plus Blizzaks for winter, which were too many tires to have around with two cars. I sold the Bullitts and Blizzaks, and threw a set of all-seasons on the car.

My GTP handled the snow flawlessly on all-seasons, and the only reason I went with winters is because I needed new non-summer tires and decided to try out winter tires.

I think snow tires are awesome but the gtp was decent even with worn all seasons. Something about that car just makes it awesome in the snow

Michelin pilot sport all seasons seem to be a hit on tirerack. You get a $70 rebate back too on 4 tires

RS-A's are oem spec tires. They suck donkey dick.

I have probably a good $700+ in tires/wheels available to sell. I don't plan to demod the GTP at all, but still would like to be able to get down if needed.

RSA's blow - I would think someone that works at a tire shop would know that.

Maybe that's what they just tell people who are buying tires there. Too much money for shitty tires.


Traction T/A's have been a great all-season for me. They do great in the snow, and on dry IMO.

$110 isn't expensive for a tire....just expensive for a really really shitty tire.

thats not expensive for that price but when the size gets bigger its ridc, the guy i work with has impala ss stock 18inch rim and one rsa is like 250bucks! insane

goodyear doesnt really make a good tire, i havent heard anything about the f1s besides pandas opionion. Those are expensive too!

i just bought a good used set of goodyear triple treads and they look nice. should be a nice change from my mismatched and pitched set of tires i have on there now.

i have always had good luck with goodyear. i've tried bargain brands and they never compare.

yes they have a select few good tires, im really not a fan of them i guess cause i deal with them all day. Tires are a hit or miss, my intergitys i used to have were terrible!
