Default Ram-Air??

I want to make my hood funcional instead of just helping cool the engine.

This is what i was thinking..

Try to understand my pics.. but what i was thinking was cut out the red circled hole in the hood and run a pipe from there to a hole in my intake tube.. but my main concern would be that the air would be unfiltered and all that crap go in the engine but i want to know what you guys think??

uhh... i would just make a hole in the hood and let the air circulate around the engine bay or something. Doing that to your intake won't really "help" but if it were my car i would just leave well enough alone and not touch it

The only ram air your car needs is a top swap. The whole "ram air" thing is pretty much a gimmick.
