whats your guys opinon on this....ive heard it both ways.....i have BBV on my car but no the BBV solenoid because it went bad and was causing boost issues.....i no longer run one anymore.....is this dangerous? i dont knock....but everyonce in awhile ill get some momentarily out of nowhere....maybe 1.2 but its only once in a blue moon....should i get one from a junk yard or just leave it...

16-18ish city depending on how nice I'm being. And 29-30 highway

The solenoid is just a bypass. The valve itself operates off of vacuum. So you really wouldn't notice a difference unless a situation came about where the PCM commanded the bypass to open.

well wouldnt it bleed boost during a situation where boost stack occured or when you randomly get KR it will pull boost to retard the timing and stop the knock because i want all the protection i can get....

i ended up scooping one up from the JY today....just in case my care seems to boost stack at shifts less and when i had no bbv solenoid my car would hold in the upper rpms a while before shifts....now it doesnt weird....to me it was put there for a purpose so im gonna leave it....
