I fixed my rear knock sensor yesterday and went for a drive when the low oil pressure light kicked on. My autometer electrical gauge says the oil pressure is the same as before. My car idles at about 30psi and instantly goes up to 60to 65 when I accelerate, and goes up to about 70 at WOT. I do have the oil pressure kit installed, so do these numbers sound right? My HPT oil pressure reads -14 to -15 psi though. The low pressure light stays on 99% of the time. Did the sensor or one of the wires become undone when I was reaching around by the oil filter/diff?
Any suggestions? Ideas? Where are the stock oil pressure wires and sensor so I can visualize it? thanks for the help, Andy C.
