Tuning with EVAP solenoid disconnected/plugged

From what Ive been told the EVAP solenoid can bring un-metered vapors from the fuel tank into the fuel system and can cause issues with tuning. I guess the downside this is a emission component and leaving the line from the fuel tank disconnected releases gas vapors into the air. Any info would be appreciated.

That is true. However, you could just disconnect the EVAP when you are logging to make tuning changes. You shouldn't have to leave it disconnected all the time.
