they had to of been working out the patterns for the molds...

why does eric need a gen5?

he's got some crazy idea to toss an l36/32 in his 96 cavi rustbucket with an is3 cam:dunno:

Looks like a different snout, outlet goes all the way to the bridge, coolant passages, looks smaller.

Ive never seen a Gen V like that. With the way the bottom and rotors look, Id say it was never used or cleaned up with new rotors.

the snout is the same it's just sandcast as opposed to a diecast part for the subsequent production numbers
the outlet is also wider at the snout end, machined silencer slots (about 75% of the size of the cast in slots on later gen5's. undercut inlet bottom as well....
IIRC Todd from intense is running a blower like that on his bonne. It has features of the gen 3 and gen 5
this doesnt have any of the gen3 features....it's all gen5 but it looks like it was one of the first test pieces for the mold patterns....it's a fair bit lighter than than the later g5 next to it
What is an intense port job?
:dunno:

That is interesting. Ill email todd and ask for pics of his to compare.
We might be able to get a time frame of when they were all cast.
