head bolts info needed

well im home for a while and im going to try and put together the GTP motor tomorrow so i can start on the fiero, but i was wondering if someone can tell me the torque for the bolts and the sequence(sp?). thanks for your help

Standard head bolt torque sequence.....follow the numbers

stock bolts torque (from fullthrottlev6.com)

Cylinder head bolts: 37 ft/lbs + 130 degrees + 30 degrees up to 10/98

37 ft/lbs + 120 degrees

If using head studs, I think it was studs to "finger" tight, and nuts to 89 - 95FT lbs.....But head studs usually come with torque recommendations

sweet! thank you! one last thing, when me and my friend did my mls head gaskets we used copper spray to help seal them, should i use them on stock head gaskets? or should i use any kinda sealent on stock head gaskets? or just toss them bitches on there?

no sealent on stock gaskets.....

isnt the fiero going to be a high hp turbo car? i'd recommend head studs at least, and oem/mls head gaskets.....

i torque heads in the sequence above, starting with 45, then 70, then final is 95 ft lbs

ya the fiero is. that already has mls head gaskets and arp head studs, this is for the motor thats going back into my GTP. its just going to get s wimpy 3.5 pulley set up so head bolts and felpro head gaskets is all i need.

no i actually dont cause i never got my dhp going on this shitty ass laptop, thats why i have been looking for a new laptop.
