As most of you know i'm going to knock out my lim gasket hopefully this weekend. I need to know how much coolant the car will need.
At the moment I have one of these:
Here is my plan. I need a good coolant flush. A water hose isnt going to cut it. A friend of mine who works at Midas is going to flush the coolant for me. He recommends that I get my coolant flushed AFTER the lim gasket repair. He also tells me to come back in one month for one more flush to get and extra lingering gunk. He says dex cool and be a real pain and one flush inst enough.
Only thing is that I am worried the "jelly" or gunk thats in there now is going to clog, or cause problems when trying to dump the coolant.
So heres the plan:
1. Get lim gasket done and drain coolant without machine.
2. flush coolant W/machine (few days later)
Does the above look in order?
