Today I traded my 04 gtp and my 99 gt in on a 06 GXP with 32K on the clock and got a extended warrenty from GM, no aftermarket juck company. I really really like the car, I will let the pics speak for them self.

nice! so fish's old gt is gone for good. somebody probably will end up buying it and put 22" on it[/b]

I am kinda sad. I even tossed the idea around about buying it back to him. *sigh* Ohh well. Makes my decision easier.

I dont think anyone will put 22's on that car, it is just not that kind of area out here. The salesman was really impressed with the GT on how nice it looked and that everything still worked with 160,000 miles on the car.

I love the GXP but im just not sold on the V8 and gas milage with these cars. Also, I am still wondering how the trans will hold up, but I guess with the 100,000 mile warrenty you dont have to worry to much.

BTW, WHEN DID THE GM 100,000 POWRTRAIN WARRENTY START? 2006/2007?

All the 07+ cars get the warrenty and certified 06's get the warrenty. I am getting better mpg in the GXP then I did in the GTP or the GT.

NICE B)

I was just thinking the other day that when it is time to replace my 2000 GT i will probably go to a GXP instead of a GTO. Just to stay with a GP. It's got more than enough power for a daily driver. Plus i don't mind having the V8. Gas can't stay this way forever. It's even come down some recently. Regardless, I'd rather have a cool looking car with a V8 than have something i don't like with great gas mileage.

Anyway, great purchase. HAVE FUN!!!

BTW, I love that color on the GXP. I want to get either a 07/08GXP or a malibu in the next two years.
