Transmission Shop

Anyone know of a good transmission shop in Chicago or close by? My tranny sounds like its about to go. Took the car to my mechanic he gave me a code for long shifts(forgot the code#). Wanna take it to a trans shop and see what they say.

Im sure everyone will add to this telling you what to do and where to go BUT, I had huge trans problems and I didnt have the money to get the ZZP trans or that other one people kept telling me to get. I went to a shop in Crystal Lake and they Built me a new trans with beefed up parts. I know I have the ZZp Shift Kit in and higher pressure lines with some other stuff.. Bigger converter and so on.. I paid 1600 with a warrenty.. I just thought I would throw this out there..

go to tranzwerks or something like that on 83rd n Kedzie. They charged me $1,000 for my SSEI.

^It's on the corner of Kedzie & Columbus/Southwest(80th?). One block north of 79th & Kedzie. They guarantee their work for 2 years.
