looking for a new trans

my trans is starting to go and i dont know if i should rebuild or just get a new one, where should i go for a new one and where is a good place in northern illnois to rebuild, i prefer a new one if anyone knows where to get one. thanks

If you're in Northern Illinois, you should head up to ZZPerformance in Grand Rapids, Michigan sometime. I don't know what mods you have on your car, but if you're looking to heavily mod it, I would suggest getting ZZP's racing transmission built in to handle the extra power.

call up atomic trans in villa park.
they did my GF's trans, nothing stock went back into it, and it was just under $1800 out the door.
and they did the r&r

yes sir. and we got a little bit of a stall and shift kit too!

we got a hardened input shaft, hardened 4th gear clutch hub, performance clutches, all new shift solonoids, shift kit, and a custom stalled HD converter.
