Saftey Recall Fixed

Well I took my car in today to Bill Kay pontiac in DG. It took about a hour. They replace the Gasket-VL, Grommet-V, Some retainers & adhesive. I guess I'm happy to get some work done for free with my 210,000 GP )

So they basicaly replace the front and rear valve cover gasket? If thats the case, mine are about 50k miles old and a new set sure wouldnt hurt! Im at 135k btw!

No, from my understanding it is the FRONT gasket only...

Is that the recal paper they sent out to everyone?? Mine said they didnt have the parts to fix but were working on it and a follow up letter would be sent..

the inital letter said they didnt have the parts yet, but a few weeks back the real recall notices went out.

The initial letter also said that if you felt your car was a huge threat, they would service it. Ltlqueens GTX had oil all over the front and started to touch the manifold. Told her to make an appointment ASAP and had it fixed. That was a little over a month ago.
