12 disc changer doesnt work correctly.

My 12 disc changer has not worked for some time now. Here are the problems.

-The 12 disc cartridge will not eject out of the unit and the changer continued to click while trying to do something.

-The unit will not play any more while in this stuck mode?


Anyone else have these issues and know a fix?

Sounds like either a disc jumped out of the tray and jammed, or something else is gumming up the works. Personally, I would take it apart and inspect it. Manually turn the gears and see where the bind is. If you want a hand PM me.....I have been into a lot of CD changers to unjam stuff like this, and have had pretty good success. If it still tries to eject, then odds are the electronics are good and its something mechanical.
