found inside oil pan

Well along time ago I put this car up on jack stands and it sat there. Well now i'm ripping into it, I put it away cause I popped a piston, what I found in the pan I have no clue what it is so here are some pics. One piece is the ring, the other i'm thinking skirt of piston. But the round plastic pieces I have no clue.

It's the back side of the oil sensor unit. Guess tommorrow i'll tear into it and see just how bad the damage is.

Hmm this is three now. This will be the forth motor in the Regal now. First one I blew in this car.

This is nsr71's old regal, stage 2 cam, wpi blower, alky injection, trans ,3.0, pcm tuning,togs and some other goodies.

Wasn't even on it when I popped the piston.The Alky is already coming out,just going to put the motor back together drive it for the summer to make sure everything is good with it. Then sell the long block, then i'll pick up a long block from Ed to drop in there.
