Anyone here rebuilds engines?

Just as the topic says. Lastnite when i was driving home from work, I got on the E-way and when my car reached 5500 rpm (right before the tranny shifts) i hear a loud knocking noise But it only dores it at WOT or around 5500 RPMs. Then i notice that the engine seems louder when accelerating normal. I dont know if its from the superchatrger or the top end of the motor, Can someone please help me ASAP cause this is my only means of transportation

Ok but does anyone have any idea what that might be. I always use synthetic oil. and my mods are mild

From your post, it would be very hard to say what it could be.
The blower does get louder as you rev higher
With your mods it could be knock and at what RPM you say it happens would make a little bit of since.

did you drop to the 3.4 without any exhaust work...i only ask cuz its not in your sig...

I had the u-bend and resonator removed and replaced with the same size pipe on the outlet side of the cat then it reduces back to the stock size at the Y-pipe(Which is the original) and thru the stock mufflers to aftermarket dual tips
