i ran a diognosis today on my gt and it came up as low voltage in my maf sensor, i guess i need to replace this part , but with which one? just wanted to see what you guys reccomend for replacement or if it could be something else, thanks
While that MAF can be made to work, it is not a direct replacement.
you would have to block off the old MAF hole in the TB and have the LQ4 maf tables put into your PCM
i dont know of anyone that has used that setup on a L36 but i guess there is no reason it couldnt work.
The WBS LQ4 maf sensor is ment more for L67 cars outflowing the stock unit.
only place i can think of that sells new MAFs besides a dealer is ZZP. You might want to give Ed Morad a call to see if he has any low mileage stock MAFs. His come with a warranty so it might save you a couple bucks....tho i dont like to use used sensors that much, the MAF has alot to do with how your car will run and perform.
