3800 How do I remove the accelerator pedal?

are you looking to put new pedals on? when i did this for my grand am the dealership told me they weld the gas and brake pedals on from behind for safety reasons so they dont fall of while driving. so i had to get the cheap pedals with the wrap around holders.

dont know if its the same for grand prix

the brake pedal is a stretch on cover, replaces the stock rubber cover, the metal plate is welded on. I already did that one.

The Accelerator pedal pivots, as you know when you press, I need to know how to remove that pivot so I can replace the pedal. It obviously isn't welded as the pedal is plastic and it pivots....
